Itinerary
Begin with a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, where ancient baobabs shade herds of elephants and the Tarangire River draws a variety of grazing animals. Look for lions stalking impala and colourful birds around the floodplains. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before returning to your lodge for dinner.
On day two, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early to maximise wildlife viewing. This 600‑metre deep volcanic bowl shelters over 25,000 animals including lion, elephant, buffalo, zebra and spotted hyena. Enjoy a full‑day crater floor drive with a picnic lunch before ascending to Arusha or the airport.
Frequently Asked Questions
For the 2‑day northern circuit safari, the dry months (June–October) offer excellent game‑viewing as animals congregate around rivers. The shoulder seasons (December–March) are cooler and allow you to observe newborn calves in the crater.
